MSHA Training Taught by a Miner Who's Still on the Job.
30+ years in the hole. The freshest MSHA Part 46 and Part 48 training in Nevada — because what happens on Shayne's shift today shows up in your class tomorrow.
Why Stone MSHA
Training from the hole, not a podcast.
Still in the Industry
Shayne works on an active mine site. Your training reflects what's happening in mining right now — not ten years ago.
30 Years, 30+ Mines
From metal/nonmetal to coal to civil, across the US and Canada. If it's been mined, he's worked on it.
Real Stories, Real Engagement
No reading off a slide deck. Stories, video, and discussion miners actually remember after they leave.

Courses
Training built for every miner.
Part 46 — New Miner (Surface)
Required training for new miners at surface sand, gravel, stone, clay, and limestone operations.
Part 48 — New Miner (Underground)
Required training for new underground miners and surface coal miners. Must be in-person.
Part 46 Annual Refresher
Mandatory annual refresher every 12 months for every surface miner.
Part 48 Annual Refresher
Mandatory annual refresher every 12 months for underground and coal miners.
Newly Hired Experienced Miner
For miners returning to the industry or transferring between operations.

Empowered, not bitter about a wasted 8 hours.
"I've always viewed MSHA refresher training as a necessary evil. Shayne made the class fun by sharing real stories and videos that were entertaining AND pertinent. After his class I left feeling empowered and wanting to share the safety information I'd received."
